Fishing All guests staying at Poplar Ridge Lodge are provided with the following:

You may purchase gas from us at cost, but we recommend you bring your own.
Discounts We offer the following discounts on fishing packages: Teens 18 and under are half price. Children 14 and under are free.
Applicable on seven day trips: For groups of 6 adults or more - $50 saving/adult AND Book early and save an additional $50/adult
Discounts for daily rate Large group- $5 per Adult/ per day AND Early booking - $5 per adult /per day
Deposits Deposits are $100 per fisherman. Deposits are not refundable after January 31st. For cancellations made 30 days prior to your trip, the deposit may be transferred to another date subject to availability.
Hunting (Saturday to Saturday)
Bear hunt $1650.00 per person.
Discount of $200 for early bird bookings with deposits received before April 31.

Choice of active bear stands that have been baited at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival
Daily transportation to and from your stand
Aid in the retrieval and dressing of your trophy
Access to walk-in freezer
Boat, motor, and fuel for every two hunters
Fresh minnows and night crawlers for the week
Access to screened fish cleaning hut
Deposits: Bear hunt deposits are $500 per hunter. Payments are not refundable after January 31st.
Additional payments May 1st - $500 Remainder of payment- Upon arrival.
Moose hunt - Area 22
Bull moose hunt $3500.00
Calf moose hunt or Ontario hunters with their own tags $750.00

Deposits: $1000 per hunter. Full payment must be made 30 days prior to the hunt. Deposits are not refundable after January 31st.
Other hunts
Migratory bird and small game hunts (wolf, grouse, rabbit) available at fishing rates.
Bookings
We will hold your online or telephone booking pending receipt of your deposit. Deposits may be made with personal cheque in either Canadian or American dollars. We calculate any exchange difference from your final total.
